Spring cleaning does wonders to one’s psyche and soul. But for an amateur blogger, it provides some blogging material. Last week was spent cleaning up my old laptop’s hard drive to clear some space. There was so much stuff in there that I wondered when and how did one manage to do it all… That thought is fodder enough for another post. Here is one of my old poster designs for a survivor series competition hosted by South Indian adventure group – straight out of my old hard drive.
The poster was essentially black and white for economical reasons and to facilitate printing on any mode.
I loved this poster for the sheer simplicity of it and how it manages to convey the message without reading it. This was made in PowerPoint, prior to the Photoshop days 🙂
Another one was to make for a summer camp for kids without the use of images but give an idea of the activites one can expect.
Its been a long time since these were made. But I guess I could re-use them again if need be.
