Who does not love to bite into a delicious chocolate cake. Iced or plain, chocolate cake is the perfect answer to sweet craving. Here is the simplest recipie for making the Perfect Chocolate Cake.
Ingredients for your delicious and moist chocolate cake recipie:
1 cup flour
2 eggs
1tbsp cocoa
1 cup sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1 cup oil
2 tbsp milk
(Double all the ingredients for increasing the quantity)
Tip into two well-greased 8” round baking tins, and bake at 160 degrees C for about 50 minutes.
Grease baking dish with butter or oil and dust some flour on it. Set the oven to 170-180 degrees for 10 minutes.
Sieve flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt.
Beat eggs (till fluffy), add sugar, butter and oil together.
Fold in the flour mixture.
Pour the mixture in the greased baking dish. Bake for half hour or till the done.

I always add a dash of salt to my chocolate cakes. And converting the temp to F would be 320-degrees, I believe.

the perfect choc cake recipe has butter as one the ingredients but it does not say how much to use. pls help as i would lov to make this cake

Lauren: A little less than a cup should be fine for the above measures. Dont use oil if you are using butter. And let me know how it turned out to be 🙂
